Tara is a first generation Iranian American born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds bachelor degrees in Legal Studies as well as Gender and Women's Studies from UC Berkeley.
She received her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she served on the boards of the LGBTIQ+ and Middle Eastern student groups for three years. She has long been devoted to social justice and human rights advocacy, and brings this passion to the legal representation of her clients. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Before joining the Law Offices of Robert B. Jobe, Tara worked for three years in immigration law, gaining a wide range of experience in the field ranging from business immigration to family-based immigration to asylum and humanitarian immigration law. Having multiple family members who have gone through the U.S. immigration process, she identifies and empathizes with the challenges that immigrants face. Tara is excited to be a part of the family-based immigration team at the Law Offices of Robert B. Jobe, and is committed to providing the highest level of care and attention to detail that each unique case deserves.
