Sylva Graham received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Public Policy from the University of Baltimore.
Prior to and during law school, Sylva worked as a paralegal for a civil litigation law firm. While in law school, she participated in immigration clinic and volunteered at immigration workshops for Catholic Charities. After graduating from law school, Sylvamoved to San Francisco and worked as a law clerk for a large business immigration law firm. While she enjoyed learning business immigration law, her passion lies in family immigration. Her desire to help people navigate through the complex family immigration process comes from her own experience as an immigrant, having been raised in the Czech Republic.
In her free time, Sylva enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, bike riding, and traveling.
