Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Concentration in International Relations and a J.D. from The University of California, Los Angeles.
As an undergrad, he spent a semester abroad in Spain, studying Spanish and Business Relations within the EU. After graduation, Ryan taught English in China before going to work for acclaimed political and social activist Senator Mechai Vairavaidya in Bangkok. Promoting family planning, AIDS awareness, and other health initiatives throughout Thailand inspired him to pursue a career in social justice.
After returning to California, he enrolled at the The UCLA School of Law on a Dean's Scholarship Award and focused his studies on International Law. During law school, he interned at the Law Offices of Joseph O'Sullivan in San Francsico, as well as The Independant Film & Television Alliance and 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles.
Upon receiving his J.D., he went to work for The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, where he assisted the General Counsel of The Department of Airports in providing legal advice on all matters related to the operation and management of the Los Angeles World Airports.
Ryan joined the Law Offices of Robert B. Jobe in 2019 and represents clients in their asylum and deportation proceedings, focusing on clients from Central and South America. He is honored to serve the immigration community in the Bay Area and dedicated to the successful outcome of all his client's cases.
Ryan is admitted to the State of California and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
