Matt Richardson was born and raised in San Jose, California and graduated from Oberlin College in 2011, where he majored in Comparative American Studies.
After university, Matt spent two and one-half years as a volunteer for the Franciscan Capuchin Corps in Managua, Nicaragua, working in a youth community center for the non-profit organization Cantera.
Matt’s interest in immigration and immigration law arose as a result of his upbringing in an immigrant Filipino family, as well as a 2011 internship with the Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project in Los Angeles, California. He hopes to continue serving and helping immigrants while at the Law Office of Robert B. Jobe.
