A transplant from Connecticut, Liz received a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Latino Studies from UC Santa Cruz in 2017. Her present work in immigration law has allowed her to put her skills and education into practice, and she is proud to work to build strong communities by supporting immigrant families such as her own.
As a second-and-a-half generation Korean American, Liz is continually exploring and celebrating the experience of pluriculturality. She is motivated by this work that offers her opportunities to help families get informed about the political systems in which we all participate, and to facilitate safe and happy settlement in such a beautiful city.
In her free time, Liz enjoys exploring the many parks in the city, studying Korean and reading historical fiction, especially any about women of color.
