Joseph Mathews grew up in Atlanta and moved to California for college in 2007. He graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2012 with a B.A. in English Literature. In 2009, Joseph represented his school at Georgetown University's Capital Semester program through the Fund for American Studies. During his academic career, he published original content in regional and national magazines and newspapers from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles. Joseph also studied abroad at Regents College in London, England, focusing on economics and public policy. He is currently earning his paralegal certificate in San Francisco.
A fervent supporter of social justice, Joseph is proud to work at Jobe Law and assist others in their immigration and asylum processes. Outside of work, he spends his time outdoors and hiking with his trusty canine companion, Augusta.
