Gloria was born and raised in Texas. She grew up in an immigrant community where she got to see the constant plight of an immigrant in the United States. When her parents were finally able to Naturalize, Gloria knew she wanted to go into the practice of Law. She received her undergraduate degree with honors from Texas State University - San Marcos and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center.
During her time in law school, Gloria focused on building her immigration experience and worked at a variety of immigration firms from non-profits to large business immigration firms. She also volunteered as an interpreter for Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) and helped bridge the language barrier between immigrant children and pro-bono attorneys. In her spare time, Gloria likes to try new foods and go hiking with her dogs.
