Barbara joins the Law Office of Robert Jobe from the UC Davis School of Law, where she spent nearly seven years on faculty. There she taught Legal Research & Writing and published in the areas of international refugee law and international migration issues. She previously taught on a law faculty in Aberdeen, Scotland, and completed a Doctorate in International Law at the University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar. She completed her JD at University of Michigan Law School and clerked for Judge Arthur Tarnow at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Most recently, Barbara spent a year volunteering at the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic working with a team of Flores Counsel litigators enforcing the Flores Settlement Agreement, which governs standards of care for all minors in federal immigration detention.
